Tomorrow we celebrate Father's Day. It is M's second fathers day and this year K is extra attached to him. K and M share a special bond for cars! It is adorable to see M & K interact with each other and see their faces lite up with excitement when they see sports cars. I can see it now... race car driving school, joy rides in a sports car, being a part of some club (for NSX- M's dream car). K is blessed to have a great dada and an awesome heavenly father.
I am thankful for my dad and everything he has done and currently does for me and everyone else.
Happy fathers day to my heavenly father because he deserves the praise to, not just on this holiday but everyday!!!
Love you Matt for being a great daddy to K. Even though he can't say I love you dada but he shows you with his giant hugs and kisses. XOXO

Loving Cars
It is so cute to see K head over heels for Cars. He wants us to read the Cars bedtime story over and over. Then he wants to watch the movie over and over which drives me crazy. He will stand in front of the TV and point and say "car, car, CAR". Which translates to "hurry up mom put on the movie cars!" I love that he has a passion for cars and makes all car sounds. The passion for cars has never skipped a generation in Matt's family. Who knows where this fixation will lead to???

Love Dare! A challenge but amazing!
Beginning the love dare sounded like it could be manageable. Being on vacation has added some stress and have tried my best to follow what the book has challenged me daily. So in many various ways I have failed. I am going to begin this Love Dare challenge on this blog. Once it is done I promise I will add other pieces to my blog. It is an opportunity for me to share what I have learned and also to go back and read everything again.
It was the fifth day today and the challenge was "love is not rude." I felt confident that I had everything under control today. Held my tongue and prayed that I would not be rude. I am suppose to ask Matt to tell me three things that cause him to feel uncomfortable or irritated with me. So here it goes:
1. Tone of voice- loudness.
2. Anger- enough said :(
3. Too busy- being on my phone.
These are huge! Matt has told me on various occasions that I need to lower my voice or watch how I say things to not just him but to others. Getting upset or angry at little things has been adding up since I am a stay at home mom I lose my "cool" by the end of the day and poor Matt hears all about it when he comes home. Now the third response concerns me too, being busy on my phone. Status updates on fb, or working on my blog, checking email, or just doing nothing important on my cell should not take a priority. I will put my cell away when Matt walks through the door after a long day at work.

Animal Kingdom
We are having a blast in Florida! The humidity is another story. Before we left Los Angeles we stopped at Target for a few must haves: a spray bottle ($1 that was very well spent, we have filled it up numerous times and thankful we purchased this, no need to spend $17 on one here), propel powder (since you sweat so much loss of electrolytes is a given and need to be replenished), snacks (these are mainly for Kaden because Matt & I like to enjoy the food at the parks). Rain ponchos (2 in a pack for $1 at the Dollar Tree, no need to spend $8.50 on one that has the mouse on it).
So far we have been to the Magic Kingdom (just like Disneyland) and the Animal Kingdom (wonderful)! Loving every minute of everything and trying to soak it all up! Highly recommend the jungle safari and seeing the giraffes, elephants, zebras, hippos, and the list goes on.
Going on a trip like this is very costly so saving up is a must and enjoying everything is a given.
